A new version of John Constantine’s adventures is coming from HBO Max, with Bad Robot at the helm.

Guy Bolton has been set to write the script, according to Deadline, with the focus on Constantine as a young Londoner. They also suggest that the new show will have a diverse lead, and no connections to the Matt Ryan version of the character, most recently seen on the CW’s Legends of Tomorrow. The character was previously played on film by Keanu Reeves.
