The show recast its lead for the start of the second season, but we’re up to episode 4 and it’s still focusing on the past:

Javicia Leslie is knocking it out of the park with what she is given. She absolutely inhabits the new Batsuit, and has the exact right mix of toughness and vulnerability for the role.
