A reboot of The 4400 has been given a straight to series order from The CW for next season.

Plans to revive the show have been around for some time. Ariana Jackson and Anna Fricke are in charge of the project, based on the original USA Network show created by Scott Peters and René Echevarria about people who are suddenly returned to Earth having disappeared at various points over the last hundred years.
