The investigations of the Preternatural Research Bureau (or P.R.o.B.e.) are starting up again, with new stories in both print and on screen.
The original series of videos were written by Mark Gatiss and produced by Bill Baggs and BBV, starring Caroline John reprising her role as Liz Shaw from Doctor Who and appeared between 1994 and 1996. A fifth film, by Baggs, was released in 2015 with Hazel Burrows playing Liz. The original films featured four of the actors who’d played the Doctor, as well as Louise Jameson in a recurring role.
A new series of video diaries is being released on the BBV Productions YouTube channel here.
More releases for the series are planned, and subscribers to the YouTube channel will get early access to the next episode. The series features the same P.R.O.B.E. team seen in the upcoming P.R.O.B.E.: Out of the Shadows short story anthology from Arcbeatle Press, and include characters and concepts from other Doctor Who series such as Faction Paradox, Erimem and the Past Doctor Adventures book series.
The new episodes are being written by Baggs and James Hornby, who is also editing the anthology.
Ideas/ feedback for the series are warmly welcome :) – Warren
