As part of their “Night In” streaming double bills, Network this week are including Invasion, based on a story by Robert Holmes that may feel rather familiar at times to Doctor Who fans.

Public Eye creator Roger Marshall scripts this cult sci-fi thriller from Merton Park studios starring Edward Judd – memorably powerful in The Day the Earth Caught Fire – actor/writer Lyndon Brook and cult actress and cabaret artiste Yoko Tani.

It’s in a double bill with Maroc 7:  Stylishly directed by Gerry O’Hara, this cool, fast-paced ’60s crime caper features a star-studded line-up that includes Gene Barry, Elsa Martinelli, Cyd Charisse, Leslie Phillips and Denholm Elliott.
