Disney Star, Disney’s new general entertainment brand, will launch inside the Disney+ app on 23 February.

Launching with over 75 TV series, more than 270 movies and a slate of 4 exclusive Star Originals, new titles will be added to the service each month from Disney’s creative studios, including Disney Television Studios (20th Television and ABC Signature), FX Productions, 20th Century Studios and more.

Genre series initially available include: JJ Abrams’ Alias, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, Flashforward, The Gifted, Lost, Mars, Scream Queens, Sleepy Hollow, The Strain, Terra Nova and The X-Files (as well as both movies)

It will also provide the UK home for the Marvel series Helstrom and the animated comedy, Solar Opposites.
