Well, Jefferson Pierce should anyway, as proved in the first trailer for the fourth and final season of Black Lightning.
“No matter how hard I try to protect my family, it will always end in tragedy,” Pierce says in the trailer. “I can no longer be the man I was.” Reverberations from a key death in the series 3 finale continue to affect Pierce.
Black Lightning returns to the CW on February 8.
