The Battersea Poltergeist podcast has begun on BBC Sounds and its creator, Danny Robins, had a revealing and indepth chat with Paul Simpson earlier this week.

I made a promise to Shirley Hitchings that she would be happy with the series and that it would be a series that I felt would do her story justice and that gave a very honest account of her story. Of course we explore things from every perspective – the perspective of paranormal belief and the sceptic perspective – but I feel that it’s a story that does her justice and the drama brings that world to life. I’m hoping when she listens for the first time on Thursday that it will have struck a chord with her and resonates.
