The 80s and 90s “kid gets thrown into SFF situation” movie has a comeback in The Intergalactic Adventures of Max Cloud” released today, and we chatted with its star Scott Adkins

I just said to the director, “I’ve never done this before and I don’t really know where the barometer is. I don’t know what’s too big and what’s too little so…I’m just going to try different things and you tell me if it should be bigger or if I should do a bit less. You’ll have choices in the editing room.” To be honest, no matter how big I went, Martin was happy for me to keep going bigger.
