A Discovery of Witches has aired the second episode of its new season (although the whole thing can be binged, we’ll stick to the linear broadcast for reviews):

Unlike a lot of shows that dabble in time travel, this one doesn’t agonise too much about the intricacies and this is to its credit, allowing it to focus more on characters and plot.
