Doctor Sleep’s Mike Flanagan is no longer working on the adaptation of Stephen King’s novel Revival.

The 2014 book (read our review here) was originally going to be adapted by Josh Boone – who, of course, instead went on to direct The Stand. Flanagan was asked “could [the release of the poster for Midnight Mass] also be a sign that a Revival adaptation is in the works too?”
