It’s been reported that Barbara Shelley, who appeared in multiple horror movies, has died aged 88.
She starred in numerous Hammer movies, including Quatermass and the Pit, The Gorgon, Dracula, Prince of Darkness and Rasputin, the Mad Monk, as well as Village of the Damned. On TV, her roles included Dr Plaxton in Blake’s 7 and Sorasta in Doctor Who’s Planet of Fire as well as episodes of The Avengers and The Man from UNCLE.
