Just two days left of 2020 – and with good news regarding the Oxford vaccine providing a glimmer of hope for the new year, we continue our lookback at the top posts of the year.

In sixth place comes Andy Smith’s detailed look at the live performance that linked the two halves of The Third Day.

It sounds like watching paint dry, and in reality much of this is, but it’s also weirdly mesmerising, in part astonishingly bold, in part mind-numbing as we watch patiently for something, anything, to break the spell.
