Another sequel to William Friedkin’s The Exorcist, based on the novel by William Peter Blatty, is in the works, this time at Blumhouse.

There have been various movie sequels, as well as the two-season TV show starring Ben Daniels. David Gordon Green will be directing the new film, which is expected to go into production after his two Halloween films – Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends which are set for release in October 2021 and 2022 respectively.
