Reports are coming that 007 set designer Peter Lamont has passed away, aged 91.

Barring Tomorrow Never Dies, he worked on every Bond film from 1964’s Goldfinger to 2006’s Casino Royale in various capacities, and as production designer from 1981’s For Your Eyes Only onward.

His other genre work included movies as varied as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Aliens, True Lies and Wing Commander.
