Do not proceed further with this story if you’re planning on watching the season finale of The Mandalorian.

Disney+ has added a further series to its Star Wars roster, with the announcement at the end of The Mandalorian, in a post-credits sequence to Season 2 that The Book of Boba Fett will be arriving on screens in December 2021.

The series was being mooted before the grand announcement last week of the various shows coming, but wasn’t on the list – unsurprising, given the way that Season 2 ends. Temuera Morrison is expected to reprise the role of Boba for the series.
