Greg Berlanti and Supergirl writer Derek Simon are teaming up again for a space drama series based on The Disasters by MK England.

The story is set in a near-future when humans have colonized space to save Earth from climate crisis. The Disasters follows a group of washouts from Earth’s prestigious military academy who are framed for treason and forced to go on the run to the Colonies to clear their names.

Lee Toland Krieger will direct if the script goes to pilot.
