Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

FX have confirmed that they are working with Noah Hawley on an Alien TV series, and Ridley Scott may executive produce.

The series will be set on Earth in the not that distant future; the Alien vs Predators movies have featured Earth but the main series hasn’t visited it (although it’s seen at the end of the fourth movie, and some of the Prometheus scenes are set there). Apparently it will “blend the timeless horror of the original 1979 movie and the non-stop action of the 1986 James Cameron-directed second.”
