Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock – aka Otto Octavius – is returning for the next Spider-Man movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

THR states that the actor will reprise the role he played in the second Spider-Man film with Tobey Maguire as the wallcrawler. Jamie Foxx – who faced off against Andrew Garfield’s Spidey – is also in the movie.

Whether this means that Foxx’s conjecture on Instagram (since removed) that three Spider-Men may be appearing is true remains to be seen.

Spider-Man 3 is due to open on December 17, 2021.
