The “PPK” that Sean Connery uses in Dr. No was sold at auction for $256,000 on December 3.
The film is technically Bond’s second weapon in the film – he hands back his Beretta to the armourer in his first scene with M – but it’s the one he uses throughout the first Bond movie. Although called a PPK in the film, a PP gun was actually used.
It was expected to fetch between $150,000 and $200,000 at Julien’s Auctions.
