There’ll be fewer people travelling in the TARDIS when the show eventually returns for series 13, it has now been confirmed.
It’s been rumoured for some months that Bradley Walsh’s Graham and Tosin Cole’s Ryan would be leaving in the New Year’s Day special, Revolution of the Daleks, and this has now been confirmed at the online press launch for the special.
“It is very, very dramatic. It is very sad. It is quite sad and poignant is the word. You can expect a lot of poignancy from the episode,” Walsh explained, with Cole noting it was “Emotional! I was looking forward to having a rest though!”
The Children in Need competition last month only featured Jodie Whittaker and Mandip Gill, leading many to assume the rumours were true.
