Casino Royale’s Mads Mikkelsen has officially replaced Johnny Depp as Gellart Grindelward in the Fantastic Beasts franchise.

Warner Bros. have confirmed the news which follows Depp departing the role after losing his libel action in the UK.

The movie is now set for release in July 2022.
