Nic Bishop is guest starring in an upcoming episode of Legends of Tomorrow that will in part pay homage to Stanley Kubrick’s legendary movie Dr Strangelove, Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.

TVLine is reporting that the fourth episode, Bay of Squids, will riff on the Cold War machinations within John F. Kennedy’s White House and prevent Bishop’s General Kilgore from starting World War III. Kilgore seems to be inspired by George C. Scott’s character General Buck Turgidson from the Kubrick 1964 classic.
