Crawl’s Alexandre Aja will be directing the horror movie Elijah for Searchlight Pictures, according to a report at Deadline.
The film is based on the screenplay by Cory Goodman, which Aja has rewritten with Gregory Levasseur.
The movie is about a young boy who invites a mysterious man into his home, believing the stranger to be the key to saving his sick mother. As increasingly disturbing things start to happen around his home, the boy soon realizes that the sinister stranger is not the saviour he claims to be.
