Fox is developing a hybrid live action/animation series, Demi-God.

According to Deadline, the series follows a powerless fast food employee who escapes into a fantasy world she’s created in her favourite video game – only to have it turn against her when the virtual townspeople are granted sentience in the game’s latest upgrade.

Katie Greenway will be writer and executive producer on the show which has a script commitment from the network at present.
