Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

John Turturro will play one of the leads in a new Apple TV+ drama, Severance.

Although described as a workplace thriller, the series has a definite genre vibe. It’s set at  Lumen Industries, a company that’s looking to take work-life balance to a new level with a “severance procedure,” which separates work and out-of-work memories. Adam Scott stars as Mark, an employee with a dark past trying to put himself back together with Turturro as Irving, a “dependable employee” at the company.

Patricia Arquette, Tramell Tillman, Jen Tullock, Zach Cherry and Britt Lower also star in the series written by Dan Erickson and directed by Ben Stiller.
