When Toby Hadoke’s adaptation of Nigel Kneale’s The Road was first broadcast in 2018, the accompanying interview was in two parts – and now that the play has been rebroadcast, here’s the link to the spoiler-filled second half:
[Producer] Charlotte Riches said that the edit on the final five minutes of the play was the biggest and hardest job she’d had, and she’d produced hundreds of hours of radio drama. She gave herself a five-day edit on this because she knew this was going to be a biggie.
