Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

X-Men franchise stalwart Simon Kinberg will be writing and producing a fourth incarnation of Glen A. Larson’s Battlestar Galactica.

This will be a movie version which he will be working with producer Dylan Clark on. From the THR report, it seems that the separate new TV version is also still happening.

“Battlestar Galactica is one of the holy grails in science fiction,  and I couldn’t be more excited about bringing something new to the franchise, while honouring what’s made it so iconic and enduring,” said Kinberg in a statement. “I’m so grateful that Dylan and my partners at Universal have trusted me with this incredible universe.”
