Hunters creator David Weil has a second series in the works at Amazon Studios – this time, a science fiction anthology.

Described as “a dramatic and thought-provoking anthology series that explores the deeper meaning of human connection in the near future”, the new anthology will “tell seven unique character-driven stories,” according to Deadline. “Each character will set off on a thrilling adventure in an uncertain future and they’ll come to reckon that even during our most isolated moments, we are all connected through the human experience.”

Sam Taylor-Johnson and Melina Matsoukas will executive produce the show, each directing two episodes, with Weil himself directing a further pair. The show is expected to launch on Amazon Prime Video next year.
