Before being seen in the third Spider-Man movie reprising his role as Electro, Jamie Foxx will play a vampire hunter in Day Shift for Netflix.

Foxx will star as a hard-working blue-collar dad who simply wants to provide a good life for his smart 8-year old daughter, but his San Fernando Valley pool cleaning job is a front for his real source of income: hunting and killing vampires.

The original script was by Tyler Tice, with Shay Hatten doing the latest round of revisions; JJ Perry will make his debut as director with the movie.
