Legendary plan to send Buck Rogers back to the future.
Angry Films will be in charge of the project, according to THR, which will see a big screen release accompanied by a possible TV series and an anime show.
Buck Rogers first appeared in Armageddon 2419 by Philip Nowlan, published in 1928, and the core concept of a man waking centuries after his own time has fuelled comic books, a chapter play featuring Buster Crabbe, a TV series in the 1950s, and most famously, a two-season TV show in 1979 that starred Gil Gerard and Erin Gray.
