Michael Morpurgo’s story of Toto, subtitled, the Dog-Gone Amazing Story of the Wizard of Oz, is heading to Warner Bros, Animation.
Big Fish screenwriter John August has scripted the animated musical feature, which reworks the story of The Wizard of Oz from the point of view of Dorothy Gale’s little dog. According to Deadline, Alex Timbers is in negotiations to direct.
