Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

Performing artist and actress Selena Gomez is preparing to join the psychological thriller Dollhouse as an executive producer, and may also star.

“Selena’s involvement is an exciting direction for this project. She is supremely talented as both a star and a producer,” said STX films Motion Picture Group chairman Adam Fogelson. “Teaming Selena with Shawn and Dan’s expertise in the horror-thriller genre will elevate Dollhouse and we couldn’t be more thrilled by the way this is being developed.”

The script is by Michael Paisley and is set in the upper echelon of New York City’s fashion scene; the project is in a similar vein to Black Swan.
