As production ramps up on the latest DC Universe movie, Sarah Shahi has joined the cast of Black Adam.

She will be playing a university professor and freedom fighter leading the resistance in Kahndaq. Most details regarding the film, which will star Dwayne Johnson as the lead character, are being kept under wraps.

Jaume Collet-Serra is directing the movie which is currently undated for release.
