Adapting Henry James’ The Turn of the Screw was always a risky proposition, given how many versions of it there are already, but Nick Joy’s not impressed with other aspects of the Haunting of Bly Manor:

 Dodgy dialogue and accents can’t help distract from a mildly spooky story that’s far tamer then most of Flanagan’s previous work.
