Deadline has achieved the near impossible, and gained an interview with Alan Moore, promoting his new film The Show.

Within he discusses his retirement from comics, (“I’m not so interested in comics anymore, I don’t want anything to do with them”), and his feelings on superhero movies (he names his favourite Batman, and it’s not the one you might expect).

He also talks about his plans for The Show, and its possible development into a TV series.

NB, despite Deadline’s headline there is no discussion of Watchmen the TV sequel.
