Zac Efron has been set as one of the leads of the new Universal and Blumhouse adaptation of Stephen King’s Firestarter.
Keith Thomas is directing from Scott Teems’ script based on the novel that tells of a young girl with devastating psychic abilities.
As yet, no casting for the lead role has been announced; ET’s Drew Barrymore played the part for the 1984 movie version.
