Manga Entertainment have announced that the definitive anime classic Akira will be returning to cinemas in remastered 4K on IMAX screens for the very first time in a truly unmissable cinematic experience in over 200 locations around the UK and Ireland.

“Prepare your eyeballs! We’re thrilled to announce that AKIRA is coming to IMAX this October for a very limited time only. Grab your tickets as soon as possible – you don’t want to miss this.” said Darcy Giles, Social & PR Manager, Manga Entertainment.

Cinema fans should head to  akira4k.co.uk for tickets to see the seminal anime classic that inspired countless modern classics in a brand new cinematic experience. Previews 7th and 8th October with wide release on 9th.
