Bob Proehl’s novel The Nobody People hits the UK later this week, after publication in the US last year. It’s a tale of discrimination, bigotry and abilities… And yes, that does sound very familiar.
t’s not enough to say in the afterword that it owes an obvious debt to the X-Men – the book needs to say something different, and it doesn’t. You’ll reach certain points and groan because the similarities aren’t just vague, but pretty much note for note.
