Michael Lonsdale, who played biilionaire Hugo Drax in the 1979 Bond film Moonraker, has died aged 89.
“Look after Mr Bond. See that some harm comes to him.”
In addition to his contribution to the 007 canon, Lonsdale was well known for playing the detective hunting Edward Fox’s Jackal in the 1973 film The Day of the Jackal, He reprised Drax for the 2012 game James Bond: Legends,
