Ludwig Göransson has won the Music Composition for a Series Emmy Award for his work on the Disney+ Star Wars series The Mandalorian.

Göransson’s win helped the series to joint top of the Emmy leader board with Watchmen, with seven wins in the Creative Emmys held virtually over the past few days, before the main Emmys are awarded today.

His score for each episode was released digitally every week, a move followed by Perry Mason this summer. Göransson is currently finishing work on The Mandalorian season 2 which starts on October 30.
