Baby Yoda and creators have won their first prizes with five Creative Emmys awarded on the third night of the virtual show.
Disney+ scored their first ever Emmy with The Mandalorian’s Outstanding Visual Effects win, and the show also achieved four more: Outstanding Cinematography For A Single-Camera Series (Half-Hour), Outstanding Sound Mixing For a Comedy or Drama Series (Half-Hour) and Animation, Outstanding Sound Editing for a Comedy or Drama Series (Half-Hour) and Animation, and Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Program (Half-Hour).
Watchmen also did well with four wins: Outstanding Cinematography For a Limited Series or Movie, Outstanding Fantasy/Sci-Fi Costumes, Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing For a Limited Series or Movie, and Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Limited Series or Movie.
