Andres Guinaldo has been the artistic mainstay of Titan’s Blade Runner 2019 comic, and with the second volume, collecting issues 5-8, available today, Nick Joy caught up with him to discuss living in Ridley Scott’s universe (or should that be Syd Mead?)

I have tried (both with the spinners and with the city in general) to use all the references as inspiration rather than as a sole and absolute guide. If the fans pay attention they will see that the spinners in the comic are not exactly the same as those in the movie. I wanted to capture the spirit more than the exact details.
