Rick Riordan is keeping busy. In addition to his Percy Jackson series at Disney+, he is also working on feature adaptations of the Kane Chronicles for Netflix.

“We are developing the series for feature films on Netflix! We have been working on this deal since last October, about the same time we started working on Percy, and I’m so glad I can now announce it!” Riordan wrote on his website.

The Kane Chronicles are based on the idea of Egyptian gods in the modern world, as seen through the eyes of Sadie and Carter Kane, and are part of his own extended literary universe.
