The latest in the Berlantiverse shows, Superman & Lois, was under the spotlight at the DC FanDome on September 12.

The show sees Superman and Lois as the parents of two teenage boys. “I think as a father who happens to have two boys, that felt like a really great way to bring in some personal experience and just to tell really a different story,” said Todd Helbing, the show’s creator.

Superman will be getting a fresh costume, as the Superman suit worn by Tyler Hoechlin wasn’t designed to undergo the rigours of a regular shoot. “I think in just everything that we were talking about, we have a fresh slate,” Helbing explained. “There’s going to be a really badass Superman suit in this show that we’re pretty excited about.”

Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch star in the show, which is set to premiere in January.
