Away maintains its quite glacial – if accurate – pace in its second episode, but Greg is spotting a number of problems with the show, including one character’s backstory from the Big Book of Sci-Fi Cliché.

It seems almost precious about trying to be faithful to the setting, with that glacial pacing and an entire episode spent solving one problem that – in almost any other setting – would take moments.
