HBO Max’s The Batman TV series will be the “Year One” to Matt Reeves’ movie’s “Year Two”.
The show will see the problems caused in Gotham by a masked vigilante, Reeves explained at the DC FanDome. It will explore the corruption in Gotham, and be told from the point of view of a crooked cop, with the story a “battle for his soul”,
No airdate or casting details have yet been revealed. The show is being written and executive produced by Terence Winter.
