Since Big Finish started producing Doctor Who stories over 20 years ago, one of their biggest achievements has been in the development of Colin Baker’s Sixth Doctor, brought to a premature end on television. Their latest box set of adventures, reuniting Baker with Nicola Bryant’s Peri in adventures set some years after the young American’s departure, is now out, with the first story taking the time travellers to late Victorian Africa…

There’s no easy answers in this one – characters stay true to their own beliefs to the bitter end – and you come away with plenty to think about.
