The acquatic adventures of Freeform’s Siren have come to an end.
The show suffered a huge ratings drop during the third season, which concluded a couple of months ago, and the channel has elected not to try to build the audience back up.
Our regular reviewer, Greg D. Smith, could see the writing on the wall as he noted in his review of the last episode:
It feels like in dealing with all the big, showy war stuff, the show forgot about all the little, personal character stuff, which was what it was always about.
Verdict: A rushed, unsatisfying conclusion to what’s been an uneven season.
