It’s over 30 years since we first met the Boys from the Dwarf – incredibly a show that wasn’t expected to last that long has survived and indeed taken on a new lease of life thanks to UKTV’s Dave. Although we don’t know yet if any further episodes are planned, Dave has prepared a major three part documentary looking at the show, launching Thursday.

The prospect of anything new to be said about the show’s origins seemed unlikely, and yet, even for a long-time fan like myself, there’s plenty here to enjoy.
